CSI Plans New Fleet to Strengthen Indonesia's Position in the Asian Chemical Industry

PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI), a subsidiary of PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk, is preparing to add two chemical vessels with a capacity of 9,000 DWT, which are currently under construction in Japan. Both vessels will be registered under Indonesian and international flags to support operational flexibility and ensure compliance with global maritime regulations.

This fleet expansion aims to strengthen the distribution connectivity of chemicals in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, while also supporting plans to expand services to the global market. The vessels are scheduled to begin operations in the first half of 2026 and will be equipped with the latest technology from leading technology providers. With an internationally standard fleet, CSI is enhancing maritime logistics capacity while supporting Indonesia's role in the regional chemical industry distribution network.
